Pharmacy Podcast Network Chooses Podbean as Their Network Hosting Platform to Prepare for Mobile Education in Pharmacy Growth

New York, NY (October 18, 2022) -The Pharmacy profession’s largest network of podcasts, first established in 2009, has chosen Podbean Tech Inc. as their new hosting platform to prepare for their growth in audio learning, education supplementation, and support of the changing pharmacy industry. With more than 50 different podcasts, special series, and national association support, the Pharmacy Podcast Network, known as PPN, reaches more than 100K listeners per month and is ranked in the top 50 podcasts in Business News according to Chartable, a podcast analytics and ranking platform.

The PPN won the ‘Podcast of the Year’ award from the Healthcare and IT Marketing Community (HITMC) and is planning to cover several national conferences outside of pharmacy, like ViVE 2023 in Nashville in February next year, to ensure listeners are aware of the latest in healthcare IT innovations.

“Podcasting is changing. It’s more competitive than ever before. Our listeners need better subject indexing and our clients demand better metrics reporting. We researched 6 other hosting platforms and couldn’t find anything comparable to Podbean’s total services for a large network of podcasts,” stated Todd Eury, CEO & Founder of the Pharmacy Podcast Network. “We’re going to be releasing a live show in the new year. PodBean has an integrated streaming service which will prepare the PPN for internet radio on-demand for several new shows coming in 2023.”

The PPN was the first podcast in pharmacy to release a continuing education podcast in 2019 and today they have 2 different channels dedicated to pharmacists’ mobile education, PTCE Pharmacy Connect and ConveyMED. Continuing education flexibility is in higher demand and the PPN is partnering with pharmacy schools throughout the nation to build podcasts to help supplement pharmacy student learning.

“We’re grateful that this leader in podcasting has chosen Podbean and excited to support their continued growth,” says David Xu, Podbean CEO. “PPN is a perfect example of the many ways podcasting can be used, particularly in the business and continuing education arena, where we see huge potential. Podbean has been highly focused on developing our business and network hosting platform these past few years and we’re proud of what we can offer in collaborating with networks such as PPN.”
