How to Customize my Podbean Podcast Site (Changing the Header and Background Images)

Once you choose a theme for your Podbean podcast site, you can customize it in various ways to better fit your topic and brand. Two common podcast site customizations are changing out the header image and the background image. Here’s how to do that:

Step 1: Log into your Dashboard.

Step 2: Go to “Layout”->”Themes”. Click on the edit icon to upload the header image and background image.

Step 3: Click Submit to save. You can always go back to the default image by clicking on the restore icon.

  1. Why aren’t the dimensions listed for the blogger headers? Mine won’t fit and I can’t resize it on your site and the dimensions aren’t posted anywhere I can find. Help?

    1. Great question! I’ve been trying to figure out the same thing. It’s probably different for different themes. I’m using Metal 2.0, but I can’t for the life of me figure out the ratio of W and H that actually works. Some specs would help!

  2. yes. I would like to know the answer to that too. are you able to change headers for free accounts? It doesn’t seem to do anything when I click on the pencil under edit? Is anyone with podbean actually monitoring these blogs?

  3. Yes, you are correct. Free accounts come with only a basic podcast site, not a custom one.
