Podbean is a popular podcast directory and app for podcast listeners. So, Podbean badges (a button that can be clicked to go right to your podcast in Podbean) are great for promoting your podcast all over the web. Badges are an easy way to let listeners know your podcast is available on Podbean and to easily direct them there to listen.
Podbean offers badges in different sizes, such as shown below.
150 x 56 px
300 x 111 px
600 x 222 px
Visit http://podbean.com/site/default/badges to customize your badges and get the coding to paste into your site. If you are not hosted on Podbean, input the URL of your listing in the Podbean directory. Simple search your show at www.podbean.com, click on it and copy the URL at the top. Paste into the podcast link field to create the custom badge coding.
Organic promotion and social sharing are vital to podcasting success. Podbean makes sharing to social networks and WordPress super easy!
In keeping with this, we’ve just upgraded our share and embed feature. You’ll now find the embed option integrated with the “share” button under any podcast episode (or under the podcast logo for sharing the channel).
When you click “share”, you’ll get a pop up with options to share to Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, Tumblr and more.
Toggle to “embed” to get embeddable player options. Click on “more options” to customize players: you can change the player color and turn auto play on or off. Choose a small or large player to best fit your needs. Then, simply copy the iframe embed code.
To easily embed your podcast on WordPress, first install the plugin on your WordPress site (click “Get the Plugin”). Then, click “Wordpress Code” to get a special short code for the embeddable player.
Sharing great content is easier than ever with Podbean!
If you have a WordPress.com hosted website, you can embed your podcast into posts there with just a couple easy steps. Watch our video tutorial about how to embed your Podbean podcast (audio or video) into a WordPress post.
